Get your token live in minutes with POTLAUNCH’s Quick Mint feature. This guide will walk you through the fastest way to create and launch your token on Solana.

POTLAUNCH offers two token creation methods:

Quick Mint (Recommended)

• Launch Time: 2-5 minutes
• Best For: Meme coins, simple tokens, quick launches

Getting Started

Token Information

Required Fields

Token Name

• Enter your token’s full name (e.g., “Dogecoin”, “Pepe Token”)
• This is how your token will appear everywhere
• Can be any length, but keep it memorable

Example: My Awesome Token

Token Symbol

• Enter a 1-5 character ticker symbol (e.g., “DOGE”, “PEPE”)
• Automatically converts to uppercase
• Maximum 5 characters

Example: MAT

Token Logo

Upload your token’s logo image:

1. Click the Token Logo upload area
2. Select an image file (JPG, PNG, GIF)
3. Recommended size: 512x512 pixels
4. Wait for upload to complete

Banner Image

Upload a banner for your token page:

1. Click the Banner Image upload area
2. Select an image file (JPG, PNG, GIF)
3. Recommended size: 1500x500 pixels
4. Wait for upload to complete

Optional Fields (Recommended)

Description

• Describe your token’s purpose or use case
• Help potential investors understand your project
• Can include emojis and formatting

Tags

Categorize your token for better discoverability:

1. Click Add Tags button
2. Select relevant categories:
   • Meme
   • DeFi
   • NFT
   • Gaming
   • Community
   • And more…
3. Multiple tags can be selected
4. Click Confirm when done

Social Links

Add your project’s social media (automatically formatted):

Website

• Enter your domain: yourwebsite.com
• System adds https:// automatically

X/Twitter

• Enter your username: yourusername
• System adds x.com/ prefix automatically

Telegram

• Enter your channel: yourchannel
• System adds t.me/ prefix automatically

Quick Mint Defaults

When you use Quick Mint, these settings are automatically configured:

Token Supply

• Total Supply: 1,000,000,000 tokens (1 billion)
• Decimals: 6 (standard for Solana tokens)
• Quote Token: SOL (wrapped SOL)

Token Distribution

• 100% to Creator: All tokens mint directly to your connected wallet
• No Vesting: All tokens immediately available
• No Locks: Full control from day one

Token Standard

• Type: SPL Token (Solana Program Library)
• Network: Solana Mainnet
• Authority: Creator wallet (you)

Fees

• Creation Fee: Standard POTLAUNCH creation fee
• No Trading Fees: Simple token, no bonding curve fees
• No Vesting Fees: No vesting configured

View Your Tokens

Visit your token dashboard:

• My Tokens: https://potlaunch.com/token/me 
• See all tokens you’ve created
• Monitor holder count
• Track total supply

Token Page

Your token has a dedicated page showing:

• Token name, symbol, and logo
• Description and social links
• Total supply and holders
• Trading interface (if applicable)
• Holder distribution

Share Your Token

Get the word out about your token:

1. Copy Token Link

   • Format: https://potlaunch.com/token/[YOUR_MINT_ADDRESS]
   • Share on social media

2. Share Mint Address

   • Let people add to their wallets
   • Format: [YOUR_MINT_ADDRESS]

3. Promote on Socials

   • Post on X/Twitter with your social links
   • Share in Telegram communities
   • Engage with your community

Adding Liquidity (Optional)

After creating your token, you may want to add liquidity to enable trading:
